Tears & aptness

Tolerance is, primarily, a legal issue. As it should, tolerance allows for more than one idea to exist without fear of violence or cruelty. Through it, we all too often confuse the view with the subjects observed. (or "Through the view of existence created we all too often confuse the subjects as equal.") Allowing for multiple religions to exist does not mean that all existing religions are equally plausible. Tolerance, in this case, has lead to a watering down of religion that no sun could evaporate. The legality of tolerance does not implicitly lead to the logicalness of all created (or uncreated) ideas. Tolerance should forever remain lawful. However, as we peer through the open door of tolerance on to the sea of religious ideals, we must remember that not all ideas are equally logical. Where the feet of intolerance have tread throughout history, a heavy price has always been paid - usually with the forceful silencing of innocent voices. We must do all we can to stop the heavy boot of intolerance from marching. And while we share in this legal cry for tolerance to remain, we must also draw distinction that not all religions aptly address our tears.
